This is a set of one Zafu and one Zabuton meditation cushion made of durable cotton twill fabric. The round Zafu meditation cushion is filled with Buckwheat Hulls (small grain-like hulls). The Buckwheat Hulls easily conform to the shape of your body and offer a grounded feeling. The Buckwheat Hull Zafu has a zippered opening that allows you to adjust the level of hulls to your comfort. The Zafu has a built-in carry handle for transporting the cushion. The Zabuton is filled with 3 inches of cotton batting that is tufted in five places to prevent movement and bunching up of the batting. The fill materials are contained directly in the Cotton Twill Fabric. The fabric in not removable, but can easily be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. This Zafu & Zabuton Set creates a comfortable sitting place for meditation and is popular with meditators all over the world. This set is well made and does what it is made for quite sufficiently, however I do have one gripe. Why on earth would someone put such obnoxious tags on a zabuton and zafu. At least they could make them easily removable.

YogaAccessories™ Cotton Zabuton Meditation Cushions are filled with a generous three inches of natural cotton stuffing. The cotton is packed densely enough to provide solid support, and yet is soft enough to provide great comfort. The outer cover is made of a sturdy, 100% twill cotton. The cover features a zipper along one length so that it can be easily removed and washed. Inside the cover, the batting is enclosed in a natural cotton casing. Each zabuton is 36'' long by 28'' wide by 3'' tall.

Zabutons are rectangular cushions often used under a zafu cushion to provide comfort and support to assist you in your sitting practice. Zabutons are also very versatile yoga props, and can be used as a shoulderstand pad or as a bolster when folded in half.

I've always admired and desired these cushions, so much for my Zen training. Anyway, this cushion is great. You just can't use blankets or pillows the same way. For shoulderstand it's the best. For seated forward bends, it's great under your hips to give you that bit of edge and release. when the floor is hard it offers cushion but not too much especially for locust type poses and other belly down poses. I use this for my monthly women's circle meetings and I fold it in half and sit cross legged and it gives me comfortable height at my knees and ankles. I love this.

This zaboton was everything I expected, and a bit more. It came with a set of adjustable carry straps that make it very convenient to tote it around from place to place, when that need arises. Very nice!

This is a very good zabuton at a very good price. It has a rugged outer material that should last a long time and is removable for washing. The padding is sufficient and comfortable. It is light enough to be portable and a removable strap is included that can form a handle for carrying the folded mat.

A traditional meditation cushion, the YogaAccessories™ Zafu is available as a round or crescent-shaped cushion with pleated sides. Each zafu has a sturdy handle sewn tightly on one side. The cushion raises the hips, making the entire range of cross-legged sitting positions more stable and comfortable.

The zafu originated in Japan, made popular in China, and used to be filled with cattail. Now they're stuffed with 100% natural cotton or buckwheat hulls. The filling is densely packed to provide a solid cushion, and yet is soft enough to be comfortable since the zafu is made with all natural fibers. The outer cover is made of your choice of luxurious silk or a sturdy 100% twill cotton. The zafus have a smaller zippered opening, neatly hidden between pleats, that can be used to remove the cover and wash it. You can also adjust the amount of stuffing in each zafu, thus changing the height and the firmness. Each zafu is 15'' in diameter and 6'' in height, and is available in a variety of colors. Zafus are typically used with a Zabuton cushion to provide comfort and support to assist you in your sitting practice.
