I was surprised by the weight of it. It's quite a change from the sofa pillows I've been using for zazen! It's definitely a solid-feeling product. The quality of the heavy material and stitching make the zafu feel like it will last for years. It's too bad you can't see the tucks and pleats of the material in the picture. It's quite attractive. The wide strap allows me to hang the zafu in a closet away from dog and kitty claws. The buckwheat hulls filling means my backside won't sink, slip, slide, or shift as I sit, as it used to do with the polyester-filled pillows, and the crescent shape is perfect. This great zafu removes my very last excuse for not sitting. Bummer.
